Cap & Traitors Rule The Day -- For Just A Day

HR 2454 passed tonight on a close vote of 219 -- 212. The Democrats needed 8 RINO crossovers to pass the bill as 44 Democrats defected to preserve their integrity and  vote against a bill clearly detrimental to their constituents.

The bill is clearly detrimental to all constituents, but the bribes were flying hot and heavy, even being negotiated on the floor, on live TV between Henry  Waxman and assorted extortionists each eager to sell out their constituents for some certain pieces of silver or another. One of the most egregious of these was Alan Grayson (D, FL) who hit Waxman up for $ 50.0 million dollars on live TV.  The shocking thing was Waxman gave it to him.

The Democrats had to sneak another huge bill in filing a 300 page amendment at 3:09 AM Friday morning and prevent the public and the members of the House from reading the content of the bill.  It has been their modus operandi on this and Health Care Reform.  They shut Republicans out and even had to suck this bill away from the sensible Democrats in the Agriculture Committee that were ready to kill the bill.

So we move to the Senate. The 8 RINO traitors that sold out the country for some reward, perceived or concrete are going to learn a tough lesson. They will find plenty of primary opponents who will have access to all the Republican money they can desire while the traitors will have to hope for a lifeline from George Soros.

This is not a big tent issue.  Senators beware.  Note to John Cornyn, this is precisely why we are so pissed in Florida at your meddling in the Senatorial race.  Charlie Crist would have voted with the enemy today.  We in Florida are determined to rid the party of those that would do so much harm to the nation.  Butt out!

The brightest moment in the entire debate occurred when Minority Leader John Boehner Distinguished himself by executing a mini-filibuster reading the more egregious and monstrous of the provisions of the sneak amendment to the great consternation of Henry Waxman.  To her Credit, Democrat Ellen Taucher, in possession of the gavel, conducting her last session before moving to an Administration appointment. refused to break the customs of the House and allowed Boehner his due.  It may  go down as the most spirited defense of open debate we may see in the remaining life of the Republic.

Boehner, upheld the highest traditions of the concept of public service with his time at the podium. But then, this is a man that, in over 20 years in the Congress, has never asked for a single earmark. My sincere thanks to Minority Leader John Boehner.  He made the Democrats own this steaming pile like no one else.

There were many others on the GOP side that upheld the highest traditions of the House.  Among them Joe Barton, (TX) and Louie Gohmert (TX) who also drove the point deep into Democrat flesh to expose the deviousness in the last minute amendment which was so mysteriously missing in its presence in the Chamber that it almost brought the proceeding to a halt.  Their conduct and management of this bill will truly burn a hole in the Democrats come 2010.  Many thanks to them.

As to the future of Crap & Tax, just don’t go spend the commissions from those Climate Change derivatives just yet AlGore.  It all might just end up like this:
