Cap & Traitors Rule The Day – For Just A Day

HR 2454 passed tonight on a close vote of 219 – 212. The Democrats needed 8 RINO crossovers to pass the bill as 44 Democrats defected to preserve their integrity and  vote against a bill clearly detrimental to their constituents.

The bill is clearly detrimental to all constituents, but the bribes were flying hot and heavy, even being negotiated on the floor, on live TV between Henry  Waxman and assorted extortionists each eager to sell out their constituents for some certain pieces of silver or another. One of the most egregious of these was Alan Grayson (D, FL) who hit Waxman up for $ 50.0 million dollars on live TV.  The shocking thing was Waxman gave it to him.

HR 2454, The Waxman-Markey “American Clean Energy And Security Act of 2009″ was passed out of the Commerce Committee on Thursday night.  This bill institutes “Cap & Trade”, which is the Governments version of the Enron ponzi scheme revolving around the trading of “credits” to “offset” the production of earth destroying carbon dioxide. You know, that stuff you exhale and trees and plants need to make food to thrive and which they transform inot oxygen , yeah that gas you would die without.

What the bill actually does is that it institutes a MASSIVE STEALTH TAX ON GLOBAL WARMING already stated funds from Cap & Trade will be his foundation for Health Care Reform aka Obama’s SOCIALIZED MEDICINE.  Obama is counting on the $634.0 billion annual taxes raised under the Waxman-Markey-Pelosi_Reid-Obama ponzi scheme meant to prevent the failure of the Roosevelt ponzi scheme called Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid.  Remember, it is just to big to fail.  So we will have full blown government control over 80% of the Banks in the country, Full control over General Motors (except for the disproportionate share of ownership he is trying to give to the UAW at the expense of the debt holders and stockholders contrary to law), then complete government control over the gas you exhale by taxing the production of CO2.

The Heritage Foundation, who has been researching the bill since it was introduced in February, has this to say about the  MASSIVE STEALTH TAX ON GLOBAL WARMING :

The cap-and-trade tax proposed by Reps. Henry Waxman (D-CA) and Edward Markey (D-MA) is disguised as environmental legislation when it would have little impact on global temperatures. In fact, it is a massive energy tax that promises soaring household energy bills, major job losses, income cuts, and a sharp left turn toward big government.

Their view can be summarized with these 10 points:

1. Cap and Trade Is a Massive Energy Tax
2. It Will Not Make a Substantive Impact on the Environment
3. It Will Kill Jobs
4. It Will Cause Electricity Bills and Gas Prices to Sharply Increase
5. It Will Outsource Manufacturing Jobs and Hurt Free Trade
6. It Will Make You Choose Between Energy, Groceries, Clothing, and Haircuts
7. It Will Be Highly Susceptible to Fraud and Corruption
8. It Will Hurt Senior Citizens, the Poor, and the Unemployed the Worst
9. It Will Cost American Families Over $3,000 a Year
10. President Obama Admitted “Electricity Rates Would Necessarily Skyrocket” Under a Cap-and-Trade Program (January 2008)

Just to  emphasize Obama’s view on this:

The bill was assigned to sub-committee in February.  Conservative Democrats and Republicans were slowly killing it becasue they understood how dangerous and destructive to the U.S. economy and American households the bill really is.  Two weeks ago, Waxman pulled this bill from sub-committee and reassigned this bill to the Commerce Committee which he Chairs so he could ramrod the bill through.

Now they want to press for a vote on the floor of the House as soon as possible because they see their window of opportunity shrinking.  Democrat members from energy sensitive states  (South Dakota, Pennsylvania, North Dakota, Texas, Louisiana…et al) are beginning to seriously push back  Blue Dog Democrats wary of the deficits the restructured bill will accrete to an already swelling National Debt are also beginning to raise doubts.

The history of Cap & Trade goes back several years now. Nancy Pelosi had to remove John Dingell (D, MI) from the commerce committee chairmanship that ad responsibility for this bill due to his opposition, she replaced him with Waxman.  Here is what Dingell had to say:

This is what Charles Rangle (D, NY) had to say:

“Whether you call it a tax, everyone agrees that it’s going to increase the cost to the consumer,” said Rangel. “At the end of the day … if there’s nothing there to repay [consumers] for their financial expenditures, it might be difficult to fight Republicans who call this a tax.”

The bill will impose a MASSIVE STEALTH TAX ON GLOBAL WARMING of $ 3,900.00 annually on every American household. Of course, this is just the continuing abrogation of Obama’s promise to not raise taxes on households earning under $ 250,000 annually.  Everyone pays this tax -- every time -- you turn on a light switch or buy any product that was made with electricity made from carbon fuels.  If you cannot afford to pay this tax, you must take action.  Here are a few things you can do.

We wonder, why, in the midst of what seems like America plunging into insanity, bailing out failure, propping up corruption and incompetence; the only clear voice of reason comes not from anywhere within the U.S. government, but from England.  Daniel Hannan, having lived in a crumbling Socialist society all his life speaks with the eloquence of experience.  I hope we hear his reason, accept its simple truths.

But reality and common sense on the part of the government has been absent regarding border security for years.  Now it grows even disingenuous.

The current troubles have focused the Obama Administration on the problem.  What is their take, why Hillary Clinton blames you, my fellow American.  What is the problem? It is the dangerous “assault”  weapons that “Mexican” drug gangs are coming here to buy  to take back to Mexico. The solution (only mentioned in passing ,but being pumped every day)…suspend your rights as an American to buy legally regulated weapons here to “save the Mexicans“

Here is a novel idea…secure the border with U.S. troops that will stop the drugs (and unfortunately for the administration, Illegals) from coming North and IF and this is a big IF… (the administration is spreading lies about “automatic weapons and grenades” going south, purchased in the U.S. all for a hidden agenda to push for a renewed assault weapons ban)… there are weapons going South that will end as well and.. shockingly, we will be safer. This seems like simple logic, but given the incompetence of this administration has exhibited at every turn from nominating tax cheats to insulting Foreign allies to an inability to understand the danger of government overreaching into the free market system, do not expect them to see the validity of such a simple remedy.

If our enemies truly wish to defeat us, they only need be patient. We have a new administration dedicated to Socialism and an emboldened left that is seeking to strip down the rights enumerated under the Bill of Rights to establish the premise that Government is superior to the rights of Man.

Think not, see H.R. 45, understand the Fairness Doctrine for what it really is (imposition of fascistic Control on speech, already begun under McCain-Feingold) and then look at the coming FOCA and the slew of Executive Orders Obama will sign to erode States Rights and destroy the premise that the rights of the individual flow not from the creator, but from the Government.. If they can achieve that, there will be nothing here to save.

4. Nominate Muslim sympathizers to political office. Two words, Keith Ellington.

5. Take control of the media and the Internet by buying the corporations or a
controlling stock. Can you say Prince Alwaleed.

6. Encourage the fear of imminent shut-off of Middle Eastern oil supply. Happening every day. Democrats talking it up as if it has already happened. The reality is the Arab economies would collapse if we were not purchasing oil at the rates we are.

7. Protest any time Islam is criticized or the Quran is analyzed in the public arena. I do not need to elaborate.

8. Acquire government positions, get membership in local school boards. Train Muslims as doctors to dominate the medical field, research and pharmaceutical companies. Ever notice how many doctors in America are Muslim, when their countries of origin need them more desperately? Look deeply in all levels of government, they are on track here as well.

9. Accelerate Islamic demographic growth via:

10. Mosques and student centers (now 1500) should teach hatred of Jews, evangelical Christians and democracy. Hundreds of Muslim schools are firstly loyal to the Quran, not the U.S. Constitution. This is known as “Diversity of Thought”

11. Provide grants to colleges and universities in America to establish “Centers for Islamic studies”. Popping up on every major campus.

12. Tell the world that terrorists have hijacked Islam, but not the truth, that Islam hijacked the terrorists. Politicians are even afraid to claim this.

13. Appeal to Americans for sympathy towards the Muslims in America, who are portrayed as mainly immigrants from oppressed countries. All are touted as “different” and “moderate”. Are they?

14. Undermine America’s sense of security with misinformation of impending attacks on bridges, tunnels, water supplies, airports, apartment buildings and malls. Level Orange anyone?

15. Instigate prison riots demanding Islamic Sharia, not America’s justice system. Not here yet.

16. Increase charities throughout the U.S. but use the funds to support Islamic terrorism. Daily stories of this occurring.

17. Raise interest in Islam on college campuses by insisting that freshmen take at least one course on Islam. Be sure that the instructor is American, Christian, scholarly and able to cover up the violence in the Quran while stressing its peaceful, spiritual and religious aspects only. Happening.

18. Consolidate all Muslim lobbies, mosques, Islamic student centers and media via the Internet and hold an annual convention to coordinate plans to propagate the faith. Need to follow this.

19. Send intimidating messages to outspoken individuals who are critical of Islam and seek to eliminate them by any means. The fascists are practiced at this, they also like to sue for this purpose, re; the Muslims removed from the Northwest Airlines flight.

20. Applaud Muslims as loyal citizens of the US, by spotlighting their voting record as the highest percentage of all minority and ethnic groups in America. Yes.

So what is not within your experience. You can evaluate the reality here. You must do so, and act to stem the tide.

Great Britain is fast surrendering the “Great” part. They have gone out of their way in exhibiting their “Dhimmitude“. They have accepted Sharia law in the Muslim neighborhoods and they have dispatched the thought police to make sure that kindergartners are not thinking in a “racist” manner.

Great Britain is back to the old ways of believing that appeasement will stave off the wolves of Islamofascism, just like they thought appeasement would prevent the Nazis from designs on the British Culture. It failed in 1936; it will fail now. The difference is that now, the enemy lives in their midst, openly rebelling.

Yes, it had to happen sooner or later. Despite data that shows global temps declining, Al Rueters (all liberal, all Muslim , all the time) has an article up today imploring you to give up burgers (meat) to save the planet.

Al Rueters has been especially on the Global Warming Mantra (waaaaaaaaaaaaaarming, waaaaaaaaarming) lately.  If they would do some common research, they too might have discovered data contravening the reality of the Religion of Man Made Global Warming…but then…that is what journalists do.  Oops, my bad.  I forgot that they are not a news organization.

I was watching “This Week With George Stephanopoulis”. The panel of guests were Maxine Waters (most Socialist member of the House – her own admission), Chuck Schumer (the most sickening member of the Senate) and Lindsey Graham and Peter King from the GOP.

They were discussing the massive wasetulus bill that the Democrats just passed and in trying to disspell that there was not bi-partisan support, Waters says:
